Summer Workout Program

Off-season strength and conditioning program designed by the Steelers coaching staff. Includes weekly workout schedules, lifting progressions, and speed and agility drills to prepare for fall camp.

June 1 – July 24

Summer Conditioning is an important part of preparing for the upcoming football season. Players are expected to be committed, prepared, and ready to attend every scheduled practice.


Weekly Schedule

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Start Time: 3:15 PM
End Time: 8:00 PM


Classroom & Weight Room

Time: 3:15 PM – 5:30 PM
Location: Classroom / Weight Room

Players will begin each day in the classroom before transitioning into the weight room.

During weight room sessions, players will be taught the main power lifts and proper lifting techniques. The goal is to help athletes build strength, improve form, and learn how to lift safely and correctly.


Field Practice

Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Football Field

Field practice will be a full FoHi football practice. Players will work on:

Technique
Fundamentals
Offensive systems
Defensive systems
Kicking game systems
Team execution
Football IQ
Conditioning

The FoHi Football Staff is committed to preparing every player for success this season. Our coaches will teach the skills, discipline, and football knowledge needed to compete at a high level.

Because of this, it is extremely important that every player is prepared, on time, and present for all scheduled practices.

Summer Conditioning is where the foundation for the season is built.
