Fontana gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Redlands Terriers by a score of 30-21.
Ivan Del Villar had a dynamite game, rushing for 22 yards and 3 scores, while also throwing for 180 yards and 1 TD (1 INT) on only 17 passes. Jaden Wauls was another key player, picking up 156 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
Fontana was charging into the backfield all evening and finished the game with three sacks. That’s the most sacks they have managed all season.
