COACH QUESE

Coach title and years loaded from custom fields

Every great offense runs through the quarterback — and every great quarterback needs someone who can see the game the way they do. Coach Quese is that guy. Marquese Diggins has been developing signal-callers since the Pop Warner level, building the foundation that turns raw athletes into field generals who can read a defense, command a huddle, and deliver under pressure.

Now he’s doing it at Fontana High School, and the Steelers are better for it. As the Varsity QB Coach, Quese works the position that controls everything — footwork, mechanics, pre-snap reads, decision-making speed. His quarterbacks don’t just throw the ball. They run the offense. They understand protections, exploit coverages, and lead men twice their age with confidence.

As the Frosh/Soph Offensive Coordinator, Coach Quese installs the offensive identity from the ground up. By the time his QBs reach varsity, they’ve already been through his system, already been held to his standard, and already know what it means to be a Steelers quarterback. The pipeline starts with him.

“A quarterback has to be the calmest guy on the field when everything is on the line. That’s what I build — composure, command, and conviction.”

“Dominate the Opportunity.”
